CCAT REFERENCE BOOKS

Here are the CCATT reference books to assist you in mission preparation, execution and recovery.  The books are formatted for both electronic viewing as well as for printed use. The printed design is formatted to fit in a flight checklist binder (Jeppesen size) and will print out at 5.7 X 8.7 so that all you need to do is cut and insert.  I used the Jeppesen size, which is just slightly larger than the standard flight crew checklist size at 5.5 x 8.5 as it gave me just a bit more room.  You can just as well cut more off the edges and fit it into a regular binder if you wish, your call. I purchased my checklist books from flyboys.com which may be found here.  They have both size books as well as insert pages and the coated wire rings which are much better than the old school metal rings.  

The electronic version of the books are in the PDF format so they may be viewed on an iPad or similar device.  I use the iBooks reader as it automatically takes the bookmarks and creates a linkable table of contents.  If you prefer to use a third party reader or you are wanting to make digital annotations, PDF Pro gives the user many capabilities such as bookmarking, adding notes and highlighting text ect.  The program may be found here.

Book One: Mission Checklist

Book one covers mission execution and contains four chapters. Chapter one is the actual mission checklist which starts from mission preparation and ends with post mission tasks. There are many checklist items that are tailored to peacetime missions and so these may not relate to you; however, the PACAF mission is much different from our mission downrange and so I needed to include these for my team and I. Chapter two is the frequent numbers & maps resource. Chapter three is the allowance standard reference which includes pics of the bags and a line by line inventory of the 887N. The last chapter is the CCATT TTP.

Book Two: Clinical References

Book Two has now been converted over to just the CPGs.  We are currently in the process of writing CCATT specific CPGs that will accomodate the use of the already awesome USAISR CPGs. Book two is a consolidated reference containing all of the CPGs in one PDF file.

Book Three: PMI References

Book three consists of the PMI reference chapters. Each chapter contains the flight certificate if applicable, quick setup and operation guides, specification sheets and ordering information if applicable.
